About Me

With 20 years of competitive marathon/triathlon experience, my goal is to inspire, encourage, and connect our community with mindfulness, goal-setting practice, and self-empowerment.

Earning my Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Master's Degree in Education, and Teacher's Credential from UCLA, I have worked a variety of roles as an Educator, Coach, Public Speaker, Event Planner, Marketing Consultant, and Run Personality in the past 12 years. I have learned I will give you my best when I love what I do and I do. Coming from an immigrant family, I am deeply passionate about education, health, and fitness -- goal seeking was a fundamental way of life for me. Named the Youngest Female in the World to Run 100 Marathon in 2013, I have now completed over 400 races in the past 20 years across the globe on the roads and mountains. A few main highlights include: 137 marathons with 70 Boston Qualifiers, 80 half marathons, 13 ultramarathons, 5 Ironmans frequently as Top Overall women or age group. My goal is to empower our communities through example that anything is truly possible when you believe in yourself.

I create monthly trainings that is specific to your fitness level, your fitness background, that will guide you to your goals and if you dedicate yourself to it daily: you WILL get results. The key is I am will you along the way and adjust the training as your body progresses and if life happens we always adjust. Goal is to get you to the start line fully prepared for you to reach that finish line strong, smiling to reach your goal.

Do you prefer more in depth training sessions to help you reach your goals? 

 

My one-on-one training sessions include speed development training, form analysis, drill work, recovery strategies, fueling options, Q & A. We meet at a convenient time for you in the LA area as often as you prefer: weekly, biweekly, or once a month. Best results from my athletes who need to extra push and motivation are ones who combine the monthly training plans and one on one training.
